Guitarists who use a lot of expressive bends and aggressive double stops in their music probably don't use a guitar with a tremolo bridge. This style of playing usually causes the bridge to move, which leads to the instrument quickly going out of tune. Up until recently, you only had the choice of locking the bridge permanently or buying a second guitar. Now, you have the Tremol-No! This is the Large Clamp model. With this ingenious device, you can turn your guitar into a hard-tail model with a fixed bridge at the turn of a screw. Now you can bend the strings as much as you like and the rest will stay in tune!

What does the Tremol-No do?

Once you've fitted the Tremol-No to your guitar, you have three options available: Hardtail, Dive Only and Full Floating. In Full Floating mode, your bridge will function as normal. In Hardtail mode, the bridge will be fully locked. In Dive Only mode, the tension of the strings can be loosened, but not tightened. The biggest advantage of the Hardtail and Dive Only modes is that the bridge can't move when you bend the strings, leading to better tuning stability. There are three different types of Tremol-No devices. This model is the Large Clamp version which is suitable for PRS-style, GTOH 1011 and Ibanez SAT tremolos, among others.
